Grocery Squeals & Deals For The Week

The Flyers are kinda lame this week there are the typical deals but nothing real special I'll be giving the few that stand out of each. Also sorry I'm late on these should have been done yesterday but my website is almost up and running and I've been burning the candle at both ends for sure!

On the back of the weekly flyer if you purchase $15 of the sale products you get a $5 bonus savings for your next shopping trip. I personally don't always like these because they usually make you use them in a week.  The products aren't bad prices but there not fantastic either.  For example they have 10 for $10 Bette Crocker SuperMoist cake mix. Well I see those for .75 so like I said not the greatest. The good news though is if you go to coupons.com there is coupons for just about all the items they have for this sale.
Lobster Sale- Thursday- Sunday; Beef Loin, New York or Strip Steak $4.99, Wild Caught Lobster Tail 4-5oz $4.99- sold by each, $9.99, 8oz sold be each and $24.99 lb for 20-24oz. Or you can get a Whole Cooked Lobster for $6.99.

QFC
They are having a 3 day only Friday-Sunday on a few items:  QFC OJ, 64oz, .99, Pork Shoulder Roast .99 lb, Kroger Instant oatmeal boxed .99, QFC butter 2 for $3.

No other real stand out deals this week although they are having a Stock up Wine Sale with several Brands of wine including Chateau Ste Michelle at $6, $8 or $10 other wines are also on sale at pretty good prices.  One of my favorites besides Ste Michelle is Mad Housewife--I just love the name and the Cabernet is pretty good too.
Safeway
Buy 5 save $5 on any participating Nabisco/Kraft Cracker in a single transaction between 12/9-1/7.  This includes Ritz, Graham crackers, Wheat Thins ect.. Not bad.
Safeway is also doing a promotion right now that when your purchases reach $250 between 12/2 thru 12/13 you get a $10 shopping reward. Well its already the 9th so I probably wont make this one but if you have already purchased groceries there this month a good thing to know.
Meat Sale Mix & Match Buy 1 get one free- Don't forget like I have said many times before just because its "get one free" doesn't necessarily mean its a great deal. You have to look at the regular price and what they "usually" sell it for.
The rest of the Ad like I said in the beginning is pretty lame so I wont waste my time or yours. 
Top Food
Again with the Buy 1 get one free. I don't know why the Ad designers think were so dumb but come on. For example Dole Pineapple canned chunks or slices buy 1 get 1 free- price $2.29. Uh.. isn't the usual price about $1.25 or Franz Premium Pan Bread $4.39 and you get 2.  I don't know about you but I just don't ever spend $4.39 on a loaf of bread and if you do then you don't need me that's for sure! 
The apples $3.49 for 2  (3lb bag lunch box size)and oranges $3.99 (4lb bag lunch box size) is a pretty good deal. 
Stash Teas $3.69 for 2 plus there was a coupon in Sunday's paper
Oroweat Sandwich Thins $3.69 for 2 not bad and I really like these as a bun substitute.. saves calories and not bad!

Since Freddie's is a variety store I include their other specials.  Lately they have been having great 2-day sales on Friday & Saturdays so I have been waiting until then if I need to go. This week they are having a "6 day" Sunday-Friday take an extra 10% off all toys & table top games. Umm they must be onto us who wait till Friday and get the great 2-day sale extras and the coupons.. yep were sneaky but they are too!
There is a 7-day; $5, holiday Music CD sale, and 20% extra off of TV Series or Gift Set DVD's,
4-day bonus 15% off of Apparel, Shoes and Accessories. In the Ad slippers for the whole family are 50% off.
